Central Park Mall is a great place to meet friends for a catch-up and bite to eat. Unhurried and open, with nice quiet areas to sit and relax.

We went looking for birthday gifts for 9-year old girls and left empty handed. This mall is near the college and has a modern touch for the college aged adults. My children lived the chairs on the first floor and the table tennis room, although we were not able to play.

Well, no one will miss this building and shopping mall when you are in Sydney CBD. Even from afar, one will be able to spot it because of its unique external appearance - lots of green plants and ferns being hung around the entire building. Very special and eco-friendly, I supposed.

We dropped by at this mall on Christmas eve (and just passed by it few days earlier) and spent some time walking around. The huge is huge and spacious spreading over several floors, clean and nicely designed. There are many green-related decor and displays all around the mall. And the washrooms are well maintained and very clean too and seats are available all over the mall for tired shoppers to rest.

Despite being Christmas eve, many shops were opened for business and the businesses were good as many shoppers were doing their last minute shopping for gifts. Retail shops include fashion, shoes, gaming etc and the Japanese 100-yen store, Daiso was also here as one of it's anchor tenant. It had a wide floor space selling many products that I could not find even in other of its branches elsewhere or in Singapore where I am from. But as mentioned by a reviewer earlier, not all the products here are sold on a "flat rate" with some costing more.

There is also an international foodcourt here (many stalls were opened though a few were closed) on the 3rd or 4th storey where one can choose from among many like Asian, Indian, Western cuisines and not to forget, Ding Tai Fung, the popular Taiwanese chain restaurant famous for its dumping, A few food outlets and cafes are also available.

An interesting sight here was that there was an area that was allocated for people to play table-tennis as I saw many playing the sport there.

On the basement is the Woolworth Supermarket, covering quite also a big space area, and exiting from the side is the outdoor garden.

Overall, it was a pleasant and great shopping experience here.
