One of my favorite sushi places in Sydney comes with a certain high tech Japanese feel to it with the electronic menus. Service has always been quick and efficient even when they seem to have a full house.

Had a lovely dinner at Wagaya. They know how to make sushi. It all tastes great and we also liked the meat options. The whole concept is also very good. Ordering via tablet and being able to do and see everything you ordered and the costs is really great. Would recommend this place. Eventhough we did not have a lot of interaction with the staff they were really friendly and it shows that they like working there.

Apparently they don't take bookings but was asked if I had one when we arrived. Never mind when we finally did get a table (worth arriving early if it's Friday or Saturday night) it was great fun. We scoured the menu and then made our selection and in no time at all the delicious food arrived. Great fun and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back again. Hope they open one on NZ sometime. I'm sure it would do well.

Been there last Saturday evening for a birthday dinner,
Great location, easy to find and get there by public transport or car, Saturday night was hard to find a parking spot around on surrounding street, nearby carpark is full by 7:00pm, coz it's in the vicinity of Sydney Chinatown, distant walking or public transport is recommended. No lift to the restaurant from the street, so it's not a disability friendly place.
Service: as other members stated, electronic menu is friendly and ease to use for ordering, fast service and accurate (what you see what you get).
Foods: there are so many authentic Japanese cuisine with heaps of sushi, sashimi, ramen, tempura dishes, but also mixed with Korean cuisine as well, wondering it may run by the Japanese and Korean owner/ chef, but overall is great experience with more than 15 dishes which I had with our friends. BYO is also welcome.
Atmosphere: crowded, very noisy, mixed with music, friendly, except we got a reserved room beforehand, well set up inside, thumb up!!!!
Pricing: not too expensive,
The only down side of this venue is: the toilets of both sexes are very, very dirty, smelly, filthy, water flooded on the floors, maybe it's management is too busy to keep their eyes on the facility.
