A colleague and I ate at Medusa this evening on a spur of the moment decision whilst being in Sydney for business.
Whilst Medusa doesn't have any form of street presence once you climb the stairs from Martin Street you're welcomed into a well present environment with fantastic aromas.
As we'd both had a considerable lunch at the Red Lantern (Yum) we chose to only have main courses. I chose the swordfish and prawns souvlaki and he the moussaka and we shared a rocket salad.
On reading the menu I expect some petite souvlaki plainly presented on a bare plate. I was seriously surprise to see the large and most delicious looking souvlaki on my well dressed plate accompanied by a beautifully grilled prawn. Without doubt the best Greek meal I've ever had and the accompanying rocket salad was delicious. My colleague commented the the moussaka was the best he'd ever had.
All in all genuinely one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time.
A must try for anybody staying in the Sydney CBD or Darling Harbour precinct.
