This is a great place to meet for lunch with the $20 food and glass of wine, best when the weather is good, can go inside though. Night time is also a pleasant experience.

This wasn't our first time here, but similar experience each time.
Dined here on the weekend to celebrate a special occasion with family and food was excellent; entrees of soft shell crab, zucchini flowers and calamari were all mouth watering, but the mozzarella/eggplant entree was chilly rather than room temp, so failed to impress one of our party who would have chosen differently if he'd realised just how cold it was.
Main meals of veal, gnocchi and spatchcock (minus bones!!) were full of flavour and perfectly cooked and no room left for dessert. Well, a couple of us managed to squeeze in one of the sumptuous desserts - always room in your dessert stomach!
Staff were attentive and entertaining but not intrusive. Kids were made very welcome and looked after with minimal effort from us. My only criticism was that the toilets are at the entrance to the complex rather than within the restaurant itself, but you have to walk past them to leave anyway, so not so bad. We were towards the back of the restaurant so missed the views over the lake too, but probably best place to be on a cold night.

Attended a work dinner at this restaurant which is located in baulkam Hills in Sydney. At first I gasped at the menu prices but kept an open mind. My first Course was the Salt and Pepper Calamary...Meltes in you mouth with suttle spices with not only calamari but prawns and whole charcoaled squid.
Then came my main Lamb loins cooked to perfection for me, (Med to Well) on a vegetable frittata and red wine gravy. Most delightful. Then came the desert...the biggest Creme Brule i have ever seen. This layer of toffee over a creme that was sweet and melted on your tounge.
So if you want to take your partner out for a very well presented dinner with good wine and atmosphere, this would be in my top 10.

100 metre walk to the rest rooms. Pasta was packet pasta, for the price assumed it might be fresh. Drinks over the top in price. Service slow but friendly. Wouldn't go back, just to expensive for a norwest restaurant with a view of a man made lake.

We have never had a bad meal here and teh food quality is some of the best we have had. The menu changes over time so each time you go it is something slightly different. Balaim bugs entree was superb, seafood pasta was nicely cooked and we asked for the sticky date pudding which was light. (HInt ask for the sauce on the side so it doesn't get drowned) Be warned that it can get expensive as soem of the mains are in the $40+ range and the wine list is not the cheapest. But as my wife and I go here for special occasions, the occasional splurge is well worth it.
