The fast Ferry, that is the Sydney ferry company one. is brighter and cleaner than the larger ones. offers a free tea or coffee. drinks from the pay bar would have to be downed very quickly! The sydney ferry was cheaper than the others. Maybe it varies to the time of travel but certainly good value.

Loved the ferries while we were in Sydney. The day travel cards you can buy are worthwhile if you are stopping at different places, we did Darling Harbour to Circular Quay to Manly one day. Also free wifi for 2 x 45min sessions which is handy when you're staying somewhere where the wifi is really expensive!

The ferry operation out of Sydney Harbour are easy and a great way to travel. Signs are easy to read and the ticket agents are right there to direct you if need be.

We travelled on the Captain Cook ferry from the Sea Life centre back to the Wharf very reasonable. We took another from the Wharf to Manley also reasonable. These ferries run regularly and are such a good way to travel.

A quick and not too expensive way to get from Circular Quay to Manly and/or back. Only this (except perhaps a helicopter view) makes you realize and understand the varied coastline of the Sydney Harbour, with all the bays and capes. Make sure you choose a nice day and also think about where the sun will be if you're after some nice photos. Also, the ferry can be quite packed with people and not everyone gets the best view...
