“Best way to see the city”

We took the ferry to Manly beach and back. This is a great way to see the waterway and get a better grasp of the landscape. The ferrry's are fast and frequent so no need to worry about missing one.

“Enjoy Sydney at reasonable travel fares”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

If you are intending to visit Sydney, go to the website below to view/purchase your MyMulti tickets from City Rail. These tickets allow unlimited travel on buses, trains and ferries at discounted rates. You can also purchase the tickets at the airport when you arrive - one day, two days, three days, one week ....from September 2013 you will have to purchase a MyMulti2 or MyMulti3 to e.g. catch a train to Circular Quay, ride the ferries to Manly, Taronga Zoo, Rose Bay, Watsons Bay, etc, then take the bus or train to Town Hall or any other station on the City Rail metropolitan rail line. It is a wonderful relaxing way to see Sydney and you don't have to blow your budget or gasket to enjoy this beautiful city. Go to the Information Centres or kiosks to obtain brochures or assistance. See Sydney's beautiful harbour and environs - use the ferries, trains and buses to get around via the MyMulti Rail passes. Checkout this website www.cityrail.info or the weblink below and put in your own destination:

“Nice view of the city skyline”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Like to take the ferry from circular quay to darling harbour as that gives me the best of the Sydney CBD skyline. Unfortunately, from 1st September 2013, those who buy mymulti 1 can't take the ferry anymore, so it will cost more to get mymulti 2 instead of mymulti 1.

“Underrated experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

Surprisingly few people in Sydney seem to know about the great value a ferry ride can be. Hope on for a few buck and take a ride around Sydney. The views are awesome and they are often very open and spacious. SAfe with plenty of room on board. Go up top for the ocean breeze. For the romantic couples out there, take the ferry around sunset, and sit up top. Really nice memorable experience :)
