The hotel it self was not to bad.
When we 1st checked in the card keys to our room would not work so we have to go back down and tell the lady, she let us in than and said to pick up the keys later when we came downstairs but the guy at reception knew nothing about it so we had to wait.
We went for the pink concert and in the room we had pink cupcakes and champayne so was happy with that.Good location.
The only thing i did not like about this place was there was no parking onsite, we had to drive to a public carpark and walk 15mins back and the directions to the carpark were bad, we got lost and parked in the wrong place, it cost us $58 to get it out after 1 night lol.
The air vents in the room we had, 608 needed to be cleaned they were chocked up with black dust. and the door in the bathroom had snot all over it, gross.Alright for 1 night.1 min walk from the Sydney entertainment Centre.

As with most things Australian, our room was quite big and clean. We were part of a group of over 130 people and we stayed there for three nights, complete with breakfast the first of which must have been a learning experience for them. The following days however they fared better although the food choices did not vary.
The lobby was a bit small and finding a restroom quite a challenge.
By and large, we were quite happy with our stay. Everything was within walking distance be it for shopping, dining and even sightseeing.

I found this apartment hotel while surfing the net and could not believe the pictures, price, location and large room sizes. I rang a friend in Sydney and asked him to check it out. While in the hotel he rang me back and said to book it. He said we could have a quiet room on the 8th or 9th floor overlooking Sussex St with two queen size beds, TV sitting area, kitchenette/cooking facilities, bathroom and all in one large room with wardrobe, ironing facilities, fridge etc and ... wait for it ... just $99 a night for two people. That is $49.50 each. So I booked the hotel and we stayed there from 13 to 18 May 2009. We were not at all disappointed. The service was polite and friendly and housekeeping only took place on an adhoc basis; hence the cost saving (to the environment too). It’s a short walk to Central Station, Darling Harbour and shopping and business precincts. My colleague was also happy because the Catholic Church was only two doors away. All in all, a great place to stay. The only tip I can give is to take a Chinese phrase book to Sydney because we found most people in the city and suburbs only spoke Chinese and this was most disappointing and extremely frustrating.

Location is always important for me and for this short trip to Sydney, this hotel was great. Right on George St and very close to the new World Square, QVB, great restaurants in Chinatown. Darling Harbour within walking distance.

Comfort in the apartment was fair, colours trendy. Small balcony. Bathroom ok, the shower curtains need to be aired though. Lots of sunlight coming into the room, and this is good. Small kitchenette area. Beware, daily maid service does not include washing up in the sink, this will be charged a supplement at check-out! Staff at reception courteous and efficient.

Overall, a good experience.

We stayed at the Breakfree for one night 2 weeks ago. It was very clean, a good size and in a great location only 5 mins walk frm Darling Harbour and Central Station.
Had a large bathroom, new tv, loungeroom and nice decor. One double bed at one end of the living area and another double bed in a separate bedroom.
Unfortunately i could not sleep at all. The noise of the traffic all night was unbeleivable! We were on the 8th floor and i could even hear the beeping when someone pushed the crosswalk button at the lights from up there all night! The windows are not good!!
But overall it was fine for a cheap, clean short stopover.
