Recommended length of visit: 1-2 hours
Owner description: The Forest Sky Pier is a spectacular architectural feature providing the panoramic views over the Coffs Coast and Hinterland. Cantilevered off the edge of Sealy Lookout in Orara East State Forest, the Forest Sky Pier projects 22 metres out over rainforest, 15 metres above the forest canopy. The Forest Sky Pier is a 5-10 minute drive off the Pacific Highway through banana plantations and forest, taking in amazing views as you travel up the hill side. It's a must-see destination for the North Coast.

“Nice drive up the mountain - nice view”

We drove up Bruxner Park to take in the view from Sealy Lookout. The drive up was nice - through the banana farms, big houses.
The view itself is good - you get a great view of Coffs Harbour. Its great if there is no one else around, and you can take some sandwiches up for lunch. There are also public toilets which is handy.

This is a great place to see the Coffs and surrounding areas from with great views. You can see the beaches, Coastline and the Jetty from here. Nice place to sit and have lunch too.

“Serene!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2013

Read about this place on the Internet. We left from our motel (Matador Motor Inn) at 10am to visit this lookout and was a 20 minute drive from there. After turning left from the board for Bruxner Park at Pacific Highway, we had a travel quite a bit till we saw the board for Sealy Lookout - at one point we got confused if we had gotten lost.

The lookout is amazing - the view is just breath-taking. We had the place to ourselves for a good 10 minutes. There are some picnic benches to the right of the lookout admist the woods where we had our sandwiches.

A must-visit place! If the sun's out, you'll end up with some awesome pictures!

“You can see for miles & miles”

The view from this lookout is magic. The drive to the lookout is nice as well. There are roadside stalls that sell bananas and avocadoes. The lookout has a car park close by and is accessible by wheelchairs.

“What a View”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013

While staying in the area did some sightseeing. Getting there is fairly easy despite road work disruptions. The road is a bit windy but as long as you stick to the speed limits its a reasonable drive. However once there the view is marvellous. We could actually see other places we were heading to that day (Mutton Bird Island and the Coffs Botanic Gardens (both well worth a visit). Took a lot of photos as there are views up and down the coast. A "must visit" if in the area
