After looking at the menu we had steaks after having been advised not to have the farmed fish. We asked for the large T-Bone to be told it was not available. After completing a mediocre meal at high price, we went to pay whereupon we were told that we could not pay with a 'Chip & Pin' card, fortunately we had cash (God only knows what would have happened had we not had the cash). The staff had no idea what to do in these circumstances, their only excuse being that they were a new company and were still trying to sort things out.

After hearing advertising about Outback Jacks opening up my husband and I decided to give it a go for date night. The place looked ok, service was good and the food came quick enough. Unfortunately my medium ordered steak turned out to be well done, the only thing I really liked on the plate was the coleslaw and it was on the expensive side. You go out for steak you want to be able to say it was darn good not I could have done a better job of sacrificing it. Disappointing!

First time at Outback Jacks and was dissapointed. Rump steak said it was grain fed. I have had better steaks from coles & woolworths. Steak was 'chewy'. Definetly had better steaks. Will not go back. On positive note the service was good.

Our first experience at Outback Jacks was a good one. We arrived early to an empty restaurant and wondered whether this might be a bad sign ! We were warmly welcomed and the staff were fantastic at explaining what was on offer and what to expect. The food portions were enormous but the quantity was not at the expense of quality. My husband said the ribs were the best he has ever had and the meat was just falling off the bone.

A great experience and a friendly welcome.
