We ordered two share platters and one dish of paella to share between two. All three dishes were excellent and the paella would have been too much for one person. On the evening we visited, the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The food was served at a leisurely pace, just perfect for the mood of the evening. I would rate this ten out of ten!

I had the pork belly & snapper special. I was a little unsure about the combination, but tried it on my sisters reccommendation. It was so nice & the creme brulee the best I've ever had!

My husband and I were so disappointed with our experience here we are writing our very first restaurant review. Ever.

We came here on our first 'date night' in several months and after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor we were looking forward to it. Our first impression pretty much set the tone for the rest of the evening. We arrived early for a pre-dinner drink and upon walking in, did not receive a welcome or even eye contact from any staff and had to meander around to find our bearings and make our own way to the bar. We waited a good 10 to 15 minutes to be served by the one barman who was run off his feet. The bar was very obviously understaffed.

We had our drink and were shown to our table. The waiter took our drink order, which was served promptly, then told us that the kitchen was under the pump and since we were one of the last to be seated we would be the last to order. We thanked him for the heads up. The waiter then said they would keep us stocked with drinks and 'appetisers' while we wait. We are still yet to see these 'appetisers' and it was a good 40 mins before someone came to take our second drink order.

45 mins later we were pretty hungry and eventually the waiter came over to our table to take our meal order. We ordered a dozen oysters for entree only to be told that they had run out. Bummer. By now we were so starving and annoyed we just went straight to mains.

Another 45 mins went by (it was now 9pm) and we had to call the babysitter to let them know we still hadn't eaten. Our meals finally arrived. They were OK - we demolished them because we starving by this point. We were still hungry after our mains but didn't want to spend another cent at Latitude 30 so we got an ice cream at Cold Rock down the road.

It was such a shame. They weren't to know it was our first night out in ages but our expectations are pretty reasonable. The restaurant was obviously busy, but at the end of the day they shouldn't book customers in for a 7:30pm sitting if they don't really have the capacity to maintain a quality service at that point. We won't be in a hurry to go back.

Latitude is a great location, we chose to go there for breakfast, it was nearly lunch time by the time we got it! When other people arrive after us and get served it causes anxiety. In the time our $100 bill came around they could have filled our table twice, service extremely poor, even extra coffees took forever, we commented on slow service and still no difference or apology. A gold mine setting with poor management, not recommended!!

Really pleasant evening.
Food was definitely above average, great range & even better specials.
Have had better service elsewhere but the wait staff were doing their best, they were friendly and not at all rude, just a little inexperienced.
I liked it a lot.
