“Great Location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

We stayed for 10 nights during school holidays and found the park to be well suited for kids with pool, amenities and activities. Great location to everything Coffs has to offer. Park was spotless all the time even busy for the holidays. Staff were helpful and lovely.
I would have given park and excellent review except we found the slab powered sites a bit of a mission to park as there were deep gutters surrounding the areas and caused my van draw bar to bottom out. Ute needed jacking up to get jockey wheel in before uncoupling
Best suggestion, have a walk around and choose your site first if possible.
Great Park we will be back again.

We stayed last weekend in a cabin without toilet or shower for around $94 with bed linen. The room was larger than expected with a large veranda and your own private outdoor table, plenty of room and clean concrete path ways to easily access the toilet or shower without shoes on. You think it's going to be small but it's roomy and family orientated excellent pool for the young prob best in coffs good night security great bed lighting and excellent kitchen and utilities and location to beach best location to stay to go to pet purpose show book early as all cabins r popular I have stayed in cabins with and without showers and toilets both r spacious and clean with baby bath in the laundry and an extra large camp shared kitchen and games room for kids great activities during school holidays for the kids book early 1 nights acc dep required families won't be disappointed on a hot day

Great park for young families on a budget. The most important thing that one looks for in accommodation is a comfortable bed. Bed was extremely hard and sagged in the middle. Also very cold, and only 2 thin blankets supplied. Shower extremely small in ensuite cabin. Door to shower and toilet makes a lot of noise when opening and closing (needs oiling), disturbing to any other people in cabin. Floor felt dirty and gritty. Some nice touches, added, wifi free, biscuits were nice, and at least soap was provided to wash hands, in cabin. Park itself is well maintained and very clean.

A great campsite, good amenities and facilities. Straight across from the beach and 5 minutes to local attractions. The staff in reception were lovely, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, even our 10 yr old commented on how nice they were. I would definitely recommend this park to families with young children

My husband and I just spent three nights here. It's located behind Park Beach at the bottom of the Coffs Creek. Definitely bring your bikes as there are plenty of easy cycle lanes very close by (start right outside the park entrance) and the Jetty is a 7 minute cycle for whale watching trips, the fish market and Muttonbird Island.

We had a camper trailer on a powered site. Site sizes vary. We were on site 101 and could park our car beside us, but our next neighbours couldn't and parked opposite on another site. They're fairly level and nice and grassy.

The amenities were relatively clean but given it was school holidays and the park was fairly busy it would have been better to have two cleans per day as they got a bit grotty between cleans. Shower cubicles are nice and large with lots of hot water, and the amenities block has a high ceiling with skylights ensuring plenty of light and air.

We'd definitely stay here again (though probably avoid school breaks!).

We stayed in a powered site for 3 nights & wanted to stay for longer! The location of the park is perfect, easy walk to the Porpoise pool, beach, local pub & surf club. The Park beach plaza is a short drive for all the essentials. The kids loved the pool area with water slides. A few people have commented that a few extra deck chairs would be good & I'd second that. The pool area is quite big so there's plenty of room for a few more. The jumping pillow was also a big hit! There's also a lovely park across the road overlooking the water with free BBQ's & a kids playground which is a lovely spot to have dinner & watch the sun go down. We'll definitely stay here again when we stay in Coffs.
