“This is a little treasure in the burbs...”
Reviewed February 24, 2010

This is a little treasure in the burbs. Had smoked salmon pasta which was extremely flavoursome. Followed with chorizo on sauerkrautfor main and the most divine tartufo for dessert. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is lively and nicely paced as though the other diners and ouselves were sharing a lovely secret. Well done D'Browes

“Excellent food at d'browes”
Reviewed January 21, 2010

Our group of six diners had an excellent meal at d'browes last night. We all had three courses and each dish met with our approval. My wife thought the tempura soft shell crab was the best she has ever eaten - high praise as it is her favourite dish whenever we go out, which is often.

The service was very good and the food prices are reasonable.

“Pretty Good”
Reviewed October 15, 2009

Diverse menu, including many specials. Dishes were original. Food was very nice and was good value for money (portion sizes were good). Strongly recommend the Tartufo for dessert but the Chocolate Tart was just ok. Service and atmosphere were good. No alcohol served at the restaurant but it is BYO, although personally I do not like paying $6 for corkage at a restaurant that doesn't serve their own wine. However this is a minor point, and I would go there again. Recommended
