“Very good Tom Yam and outlook”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

The restaurant was welcoming, comfortable, and efficient. Our seats at the window were great, looking down from the first floor on the crowds coming back from the races and getting ready for a night out to celebrate the long weekend.

Mixed starter platter was so-so but the soup was great and not so spicy as to be a trial!

“You can't mess up Thai Food, or can you?”
Reviewed March 13, 2013 via mobile

We have just recently moved from Sydney to Canberra. This is our second visit to a Thai restaurant and we are very disappointed.
We ordered the pad thai which tasted like it used tomato sauce for a base, cashew chicken stir fry which was way too sweet and the fish cakes which were average. We did like the red chicken curry. Also the food wasn't very hot and they ran out of duck but didn't tell us till all the other meals had been served.
Overall, I have given it 2/5 as that is what it is worth. If they get some new chefs then maybe it will be ok. Go Vietnamese food in Dickson as it is consistent.

“Asian Food”

Very friendly staff; confirmed order efficiently; food presentation attractive with prompt service. A very tasty meal of Duck salad (dressing a little too dominant)and basil and garlic prawns(superb).

“Good food, attentive service and a modest wine list”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Well worth a visit. This is an award winning and well established restaurant. I've never been diappointed here. The scallop dishes were excellent.

“Loved it!”
Reviewed September 28, 2012 via mobile

We went to "Two Sisters" on a windy, wet Friday in late September with friends. The reception from staff was lovely, and the service throughout was attentive without being obtrusive. The decor was cheerful, and the overall impression was neat and clean. By far the best bit, however, was the food. We had rice paper rolls, fish cakes, green chicken curry, Mussamen curry, grilled salmon, and pork larb with a mix of steamed and sticky rices. For dessert we had the banana and sago, and coconut black rice. It was all excellent - fresh and flavoursome. Maybe it was the great company, mixed with a couple of decent bottles of wine we brought with us, but I got a seriously good vibe from this ripper little restaurant. I also bloody near did myself a serious internal injury from eating so much. Price was about $40 per head including corkage and tip, representing pretty decent value for money. We will be back.
