“Black Mountain”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

Black Mountain has the Tower which is worth a look to see right over Canberra and you can then drive down to Caswell Drive and take a hike through the Nature Park with all its natural beauty and diversity.

“Spectacular 360 degree views from the Telstra tower”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

It is well worth the cost to go up the Telstra tower to the observation deck. Sit and have a nice coffee while marvelling at the 360degree views around Canberra and the A.C.T.

“Black Mountain Nature Park: Typical of the Canberra Region”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

It is pleasant, not unusual. It has some things that will surprise visitors, but they seem less remarkable when you see them nearly every day. Spotted pardalotes; wrens and other gorgeous birds abound there. It's peaceful, it smells nice but it would be a hike for anyone who isn't fit. If you are fit, take the time to walk up Black Mountain to the tower and look out over Canberra. I love it, but accept that it wouldn't be for everyone.

A stones throw from the city - great views, bush walking and of course Telstra tower - we loved this spot while visiting Canberra!
A feast for the eyes!
