brand new and comfortable -a great option with a kitchen and lounge. our unit was on the 4th floor..WITH NO LIFT! they are also unusual as the key has to picked up and dropped off in Manuka-and you are surrounded by permanent residents-the lady nest door had a small animal/dog that barked and whined.it is a good walk to the restaurants of kingston and manuka.

Had trouble with food because there're no shops unless you walk 20 minutes. The pool was badly maintained and mostly dirty - so never went there.

The room and services were okay - although very pricey for the facilities - am not sure who rated the establishment with four stars - definitely not any recognised tourism authority.

Cleanliness was okay, and front desk staff tried to make up for the lack of comforts.

When I asked them why they didn't have an elevator, the chap at the counter told me that they didn't have elevators in the building because the building was built in the 1920s-1930s or so - and apparently they didn't have elevators then...

Had a great laugh - elevators have been around since the 1890s.

Probably worth it if you can get an apartment here for about $100/day

Luxury this, fluffy that, quality ...... sounds wonderful on the website but the reality is something else. We are currently staying in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. We were guaranteed ground floor but find ourselves on the third level of stairs with no lift. We checked in late on Saturday and on reading the strict house rules on maintenance and cleanliness decided that we should notify management of the broken and unclean elements of the unit so as not to be held responsible. (a fee of $250 if they decide the unit needs extra cleaning after you leave is an incentive!) A list of more than 11 items was given to the office on Sunday. This is now Tuesday and not even the light in the bathroom has been fixed, let alone the window handle that is missing. The cigarette butts and bottle top have been removed from the balcony and the dust, dirt and bobby pin have gone from behind the bedside table, yet the unit is far from clean. Windows and glass doors that are filthy - not a good look for upmarket accommodation.
Location is good, size of unit is fine, some connection between owner and guests would benefit. The "welcome" information is woeful and as for $25 per night for wi fi!!!!! what planet are they on?

I was in a bentley suit in April 2013. The apartments are comfortable and are well located within easy walking distance to the administration buildings.The area is a peaceful and is close to the kingston and Manitoba areas which have some of the best restaurants.
The Bentley suites are well equiped and comfortable.The main complaint I have is that i got an apartment in the 3rd floor and I had to carry my luggage all by myself as there was no elevator.This is asking too much of a tourist who usually take it for granted that his luggage is usually carried. No form of luggage handling assistance is given.This short coming is enough of a reason to avoid this place despite the apartments other comforts been adequate.

I was" lucky" to get a $250.00 per night 2 bedroom here because parliament was sitting.I did at first appreciate it ,as it was 5.30pm and we had left things to the last minute.It had been a long day. From outside The Bentley looks quite acceptable as does the reception area but thats where it ends. Enter the underground carpark and theres rubbish, old and broken furniture and a stairwell littered with leaves.We parked the car and struggled up 3 sets of stairs to our incredibly underwhelming room. It was grubby, the glass sliding doors were covered in childrens palm prints and every thing had that sticky yuck feel about it. The crockery had food stuck to it and the kettle was grubby.The floor and sink were dull and dirty, the carpet had many stains and the bathroom floors were hairy and the shower cubicle was in need of domestos. One shower head was a shocker, more like a tap.No tea towel could I find. The oil column heater in our room let off a dusty oily odour and filled the room with smoke. The A/C in the living area worked effectively.The noise coming from the traffic in the stairwell and its non auto close security door was annoying.
Sleep quality was fair until the traffic started in the morning.
Rarely do I have so many negative things to say about my lodging but I did not enjoy my stay here, I cant recommend it and I wouldnt stay here again for $250.00 per night.

Room Tip: Stay away from the road.

Stayed here for two nights in two bedroom apartments as a group of 6 with 2 babies. Great space in lounge area but a tight squeeze with cot in bedrooms. It would have been a better stay had the air conditioning reached the bedrooms. We were all very cold at night and even though they had spare blankets it was not sufficient which was a major downside. Apart from that it was an enjoyable stay in a great location.

Great location... Very close to shops, restaurants and attractions.
Service was great. Apartments have large living area, rooms are a good size (bit squashy with a cot), bathrooms are neat but could a good once over with Domestos.
Good value considering Canberra is generally quite pricey!
