A great visit to the High Court. The guides are a wonderful source of information, and very patient even with a group of school children who were also visiting. Wonderful architecture and it's great to visit such an important part of Australia.

Rare are the visitors here. A most lovely light filled building, restful and restrained in style. The cafe is not imaginative but it is quiet and not expensive. One can sit there and admire the view over the lake with a newspaper and a coffee or glass of wine and never be bothered. Perfect break in a walk around the Lake and visit to other ikons .

A 'must visit' as long as you only want to spend some leisure time walking up and down the ramps or peeking inside the court rooms to see whats going on there, if anything.

I guess if you go because were charged of shaving your neighbour's eyebrows while he slept you would have a totally different experience.

Very impressive building, modern and well kept. There was also some concert and the acoustic in every single corner, even in other floors was great. Felt tempted of shouting to test it more thoroughly but i thought twice.

I was scared by the Kangaroo in the Australian Coat of Arms in the front glass façade though,.. it looks extremely humanoid and gym-addict.

Very interesting visit. The cafe was fine.

What a lucky country we live in. This shows how democracy works and everyone has a right to be heard. The guides were very informative and had some wonderful information to pass on.

It's an easy walk from many of the other sights on the southern side of Lake Burly Griffin, e.g. National Gallery, Questacon, National Library, which are all along the lakeside bike track. You are able to enter the courtrooms and actually see the full bench of our highest court in session - 30 minutes is probably enough though unless it's on a subject that intrigues you.
