We found the staff here very friendly, helpful, patient, with all our questions. The displays were all very interesting and informative. We will definitely have a return visit and spend more time there.

it can take numerous visits before you really see and appreciate everything. The AWM is probably the best tourist attraction in Australia and makes you appreciate every thing our veterans have done for us. The guides are helpful and respectful at all times, and if you can then you should be there for the last post at closing time....... we will remember them, because of this amazing memorial

To walk through history such as wartime stories knowing that wars are still occurring ... great exhibits, presents both sides of the story in war time. Beautiful place of respect for our soldiers.

What a wonderful tribute to the amazing men and women that have gone to war for our country and us!!
The displays are so well set out with various areas for all the different wars. We found it was easiest to just choose a few to try and see as after a while it all becomes a bit overwhelming.
I think its a must for all Australians to visit at least once.

Great display of all types of fascinating things. Our favourite was the aviation hall with all the old planes, but the pictures and other items are interesting too. The kids area, with the helicopter simulator was a real hit. It would be made even better for children if they could climb up on some of the displays, like the tanks - or, even better, if they could get inside a tank. Even some of us big kids would enjoy that too! Undercover parking was a bonus as well.
