My dad raved about this botanic garden, saying it was much better than Sydney's. He's a horticulturalist too so he must know something about that! I love it, it's small yet many options to go on the smaller tracks. Also have wheelchair access through the main path, great for strollers too. Café is lovely, parking is expensive but only because there is no entry fee ($3.80/hr I think it was). Was really beautiful and looking forward to going again.

The gardens are beautiful and very nice to walk through. I often visit especially for the Pollen cafe as the menu is amazing, the staff are friendly and the location is superb. Will continuously be coming back.

We stopped here to see if we could get a coffee on our bike ride around Lake Burley Griffin and can say that they make great coffee ... and muffins! :-)

We also took the one-hour tour around the gardens by Kelly which was really good and worthwhile. Informative and friendly and well-paced.

Need to go back to walk around all the parts we didn't have time to visit on this trip.

We visited on a hot summers morning to spend time in with Mother Nature. Started exploring the gardens with a walk on the main path, then spent another hour with our enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteer Marguerite for a guided tour. Highly recommend the rainforest area in summer as it is as cool as being indoors in AC!

The gardens are well worth the visit. Parking is expensive, a pity as one really needs to drive there, but the gardens are extensive and interesting. We visited the new tree house, the 11 year old with us enjoyed that. the Tasmanian rain forest is very cooling on a hot Canberra day.

Thank Jatvla
