The Belgium beer cafe is good fun the hotel was very clean & the service fantastic the only let down was at check out !!! why only have 2 people on the desk ??

The hotels location is nice but i had hair in the sink and things to be done in the room.. Made out a list and handed over to front desk- nice smile but half the things had not been done by evening. Another list- another smile- yet it seems the front offcie staff is good at smiling but not at reading and getinig things done. Onyl one person from housekeeing was really useful and the front offcie staff had not even read out the lsit to him. But he got it done once he knew.

Service was very slow in dining room. Quality of Cooked breakfast was poor to average. Reception was not engaged and could not provide help for vistor's re touring and sights. The comment was look at the brochure board. This is probably the worst experience in a Novatel in Australia and across the Accor range that we have stayed in including Sofitel and mecure and Ibis. Lift your game. You're getting a premium for room rates, don't take it for granted because you are in the centre of Canberra etc. We need to get some step in our pace across the board in this Hotel. Room was at least roomy. Do staff have a public servant mentality because they are in Canberra?
