What a great experience. Room was great, staff warm and friendly, food superb. Location was perfect for our purposes (our daughter's wedding at Old Parliament House), and we had a fabulous weekend. Congratulations, and many thanks to the Hyatt people

We stayed with our 4 children (all under 9) and had a fantastic time. We only booked 2 basic rooms yet they were huge. The breakfast which was included was delicious.
The hotel is directly opposite the lake and is perfect for scooter riding.
The kids enjoyed the pool & spa (however they couldn't be too noisy as echoed badly).
We will definitely stay again.

Love the Canberra Park Hyatt. The staff and the relaxing ambience make it fabulous.

Although it is slightly ageing, it still looks good and is easy to enjoy. There are more modern hotels in Canberra and they are exactly that modern now. The canberra hyatt has that ageless grace.

It really is the staff that make a place. Great service, great food and cleanliness are so important. Not perfect, but solidly good with a a stylishness that other modern hotels don't have.

Loved the food and enjoyed seeing some of the old staff that we have been seeing there for the past 10 years or more.

I must mention, San who always greets us by name, despite the thousands of guests he meets. I also must mention another incident. On good Friday, while we ate a delicious lunch in the lounge, we witnessed a young man working as a porter who was very kind to an elderly man with dementia. Great, friendly staff in the ambassadors club too.

We stayed at the Hyatt Canberra for one night with our toddler. From what I remember, it was quite expensive to hire a cot, so we just used the existing bedding. The king bed was comfortable and was big enough for three of us. Bathroom was wonderful, our son loved his bath time.
We had the Easter dinner buffet, which was superb! We recently dined at a popular seafood buffet located at an international hotel in Sydney but this one was far better!. Oysters were really fresh and the king crabs were so tasty. All the other dishes were also great and we especially loved the pork belly, duck and spinach rice. Desserts were divine as well. Loved the chocolate fountain and panna cotta.
We didn't bring our swimmers but the swimming pool looked good. We hired bicycles at the club house and rode all the way to Kingstone along the river. It was great as they had a bicycle with a child seat.
We didn't have the buffet breakfast but had light breakfast from the cafe near the lobby. The furniture was a little dated but had a nice ambience. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and will definitely return. (The only downside is that the hotel is only 4 storeys high so there is not much view. But we didn't mind this too much.)

Hyatt always makes both of us feel so welcome. We enjoy the special respect. Elsewhere this seems to only be related to money. Its different at Hyatt, and I hope it stays that way. Both of us feel so comfortable staying at such a lovely traditional place when we visit Canberra for our fun reasons, which are usually the arts. I would be sure that anyone would feel great for choosing to stay Hyatt. You are really made to feel special. We're not, but its such a great feeling.
