Overall, a pretty good place to stay. However, there was a feeling of it being slightly undercooked. Some minor things that you'd normally were missing or were out of place. E.g. the room seemed to be fully equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, coffee pods, tea, sugar, but there where neither cups nor teaspoons – only glasses. Try to make yourself a cup of tea in a glass fearing it'll crack under boiling water and good luck holding it in your hands...

Revitalised Acton location was great and staff were well trained. Our new 2 bedroom apartment had the highest quality fit out we have encountered in Canberra and being on a high floor wonderful views of the leafy surrounds. Just be aware, expectations wise, that this serviced apartment is in an adjoining multi-storey building rather than in the historic core of the hotel.

The location is great and most 'tourist' things are close by. Make sure to grab yourself a map..I think we got ours in one of the brochures at reception and you will see how close things are, plus handy if you're driving with no GPS. The hotel seems to have some history and whilst we did ask about it information was a bit sketchy. It would be lovely to be able to read the story of this place. Breakfast filled a hole. Our room was generous in size and clean with very white and clean linen. Bathroom was ok but I've yet to come across the perfect bathroom in a hotel! Loved our cocktails each night as part of our Luxury escapes voucher. In summing up we loved staying at this hotel, and loved Canberra. Our 1st visit and we were surprised how modern and no traffic the city is. We are already picking out the places to see on our next visit.

My wife and I have just returned from a three day Luxury Escapes stay at Peppers Gallery Hotel. Check in was pretty quick, front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room on the first floor was large and well appointed, and it was kept very nicely by housekeeping. Not much of a view, but we weren't in the room much, other than sleeping. The hotel is well located, only a 10 minute drive to attractions such as the War Memorial, Old Parliament House, Questacon and the Galleries. It's also very close to Lake Burley Griffin and a 15 minute walk to the city centre.
We ate in the hotel restaurant a couple of times, and the food was excellent. We also made use of our Luxury Escapes drinks vouchers in the hotel bar, which we found had a great vibe and was an enjoyable spot to wind down each day. The cocktails were also fresh and made with plenty of skill.
Parking is offsite, but it's only a minute from the hotel and not inconvenient in any way. Just on the parking, it may have been prudent to mention there was a charge to park when we checked in - the first I knew of the $15.00 a day fee was when I checked out. My only other criticism would be in regard to the continental breakfast, which we found was uninspiring and lacking freshness. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay at Peppers and I would not hesitate recommending it for a short stay in the capital.

Staying here for a brief business trip. Positives - great location, facilities perfect. Negatives - staff and lack of customer service. Bar staff unfriendly, room service orders that never arrived and night staff don’t want to answer calls!
Room was booked at last minute and priced well.
4.5 star hotel with 2.5 star attitude towards hotel guests.
