We spent three nights in the rear apartment.
The first thing you notice when you walk in the apartment is the space and the very pleasing decor in the bedroom. When you start using the equipment, you notice the high quality. Eventually you start to notice a little traffic noise and also a few noises from the adjacent apartment. But these minor shortcomings did not bother us and we could not hear the traffic at night. Breakfast is continental, comprising a generous selection of cheeses, croisants, yogurts and jams, and individual coffee bag filters so you don't have to put up with instant. A big bonus is the kitchenette room which is equipped with microwave/oven and hob, so you can eat in if you wish. Shower, bed and TV are all well above the usual standard.
Taking your car anywhere near Cambridge centre is like Hampton Court Maze - and then very very expensive to park, so the proximity (5 minutes) to the Park and Ride is another huge plus (£2.50 per person).
Meadow Farm is a real gem of a place, particularly for the price - little over £60 prpn. Easily worth 5*. We came away feeling the place had given us more than just a pad - but a brilliant holiday experience.More
