My first experience in a Turkish restaurant was brilliant. Food was good, service was friendly and well mannered and polite staff.
Have to mention the toilets are also equipped for the disabled and babies changing needs.

Me and a friend today had a craving for dips, salads and succulent meats (Turkish) - so thought we'll give Lalezar a try. The food was amazing and the service was faultless (waiter and a chef not bad looking either). For starters, we had Icli Kofte (Turkish version of the Chinese dim sum "salt water corner"), and Cold Meze Platter (if you like your hummus and dips...this will delight!). For main, we went for Chicken Shish Special (lightly garnished and juicy...2 thumbs up for this), and Lahmacun Pide (Turkish pizza which was ok but not great). Normally I'm not a huge fan of Turkish desserts/sweets as I tend to find the taste a bit soapy or flowery or too sweet. However, I do love Baklava and their homemade version with ice cream (pastry was nice a flaky and not too oily) was absolutely heavenly. They also gave us free Turkish Delights and both flavours were surprisingly yum! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

Great food. Meze to die for. Gorgeous decor and clean. Food well prepared behind a glass fronted kitchen. Desserts were all home made..overall exceptional quality and flavours for a newly opened restaurant. Highly recommend. Keep up the good work lalezar

We visited Lalezar on Father's Day having received several recommendations. I was a bit unsure from the outside and the initial welcome. It soon became apparent it was a warm friendly Turkish restaurant with very 'witty' staff. The warm bread and olives on arrival were much appreciated and the starters amazing, especially the saksuka and the peynir saltasi. Two of us ordered the sea bass the other two seafood shish which was a bit underwhelming, being bland and under seasoned. I think we chose wrongly however. The family on the next table had the mixed grill or the mixed kebab which looked amazing. Can't wait to return to try it out.

Food expensive and nothing special. Management rude and unwilling to satisfy customers. Would avoid and go to Taste of Cyprus for a better and cheaper dinner.
