Description: Welcome to the Toby Carvery Eden Park. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Beckenham’s favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.

This restaurant could have scored 5 blobs but some very simple things let it down. On arrival and throughout the meal we were exceptionally well looked after by the waitress and bar staff. However... The attitude and manner of the chef/server behind the Carvery was abysmal. Grunts and mumbles as well as serving some exceptionally small portions of meat made the eating part of the meal a let down. The quality of the food however was very good! Living proof how 1 person within a team can destroy the whole customer experience. Environment, Food and waitresses all 5*. Just a shame about the critical non essential bit of the chefs attitude!

We visited the carver last weekend for my mother's 94th birthday, as usual we had a very friendly greeting and we were shown to a well lit table [due to my mother's failing eyesight] the service was very good and we were approached immediately and invited to place our drinks order. The food bar was not busy which was nice for a change, we usually go on a Sunday when there is a long queue but Saturday is a better day by the looks of things. The meat portions were very generous and the vegetables vey fresh and piping hot, the service table was clean and all the gravy and sauce boats full and well presented. I had the beef which was melt in your mouth, and all the rest of the family were equally as happy. My mother's meal had gone a little cold but it was no trouble at all to warm it up for her. Our plates were cleared away quickly and and two of us had a desert which we shared, no problem getting extra plates and spoons, all in all a lovely meal, excellent service and very friendly staff.

Excellent choice of foods, and very friendly staff. Advise an early arrival unless you want to wait over an hour, and the waiting area (bar) is somewhat small and gets very cramped. You can fill your boots, and I've yet to come and be displeased with the food. Desserts are delicious too, just don't look at the calorie content!

Southeast London is something of a wasteland when it comes to getting good food at sensible prices, so it’s not surprising how popular this establishment is. Our one-hour wait for a table on a Sunday was to be unexpected, not just because there are few alternatives nearby, but also because it’s a really good carvery. As you would expect with Toby, it’s smart inside, the staff are friendly and attentive, the drinks are sensibly priced, the waiting system is brilliantly organised and the lounge area is comfy and congenial. So the delay didn’t seem that long, and it was certainly worth it. This is a top-class carvery offering a choice of four meats, a very wide range of vegetables, and all the gravies and sauces you could imagine. Plus desserts to die for, served by smiling people, and all at reasonable prices. No wonder it was full of happy customers.
