Beautiful location for a restaurant in the historic Varna Palæ and a reputation to go along with it. Master chef Palle Enevoldsen serves up delicious and refined menus using local products from the region and the place has a wine cellar that beats most in Denmark.
We tried the Sunday brunch, and there is a reason you have to order months in advance. The highly popular Varna brunch is a really elegant selection of fish, seafood, charcuterie, salads, cheeses and sweets, all accompanied by tasty home-made bread. We both agreed that brunch does not get much better than this. Only downside to it: the orange and apple juices are not freshly squeezed - but with such an array of delicacies we could live with that. 5 stars from us, and we will be coming back!
