I enjoyed my stay very much. The cabin is pleasant and well equiped, nice and cool in the June heat. The view is straight into the tree tops - if you don't look to the sides you could believe you were totally alone.
It was obvious that it could be unpleasantly damp in cold weather, but in summer this is not a problem.
Being old with some leg trouble I found the access to the cabin difficult, down a LOT of steep, uneven steps. Fortunately the owner kindly helped me take my stuff back to the car at the end of my stay.
Very good value for money.
The advertisement was more inviting than the reality. The forest area was OK but the apartment was cold and damp. We tried to ventilate but it rained most of the week so no chance to improve the air. It was so cold we ran the heater every day, in June! The apartment was far too big for 2 people, the kitchen is large but not well laid out or equipped, lounge and dining area are large, set up for 6 people. BUT the bathroom is so tiny it would be a disaster for more than 2 people. The only highlight was the bed, very comfortable (new?) mattresses, but terrible pillows, it was lucky we brought our own. Also the whole place is rather run down and lacking maintenance. Access was difficult as the paths were very slippery with wet leaves and moss (nobody cleans anywhere!). To make things worse, the woman at reception was the most unfriendly, unhelpful, rude person we have ever encountered at a vacation resort (shouldn't she be working at the Tax Department, or did she just retire from there?). To top it all off, I left my laptop charger behind and twice wrote to the owner asking if they could send it to me, no response. Overall a waster of time and money. :-(
