The manor house is located in quiet, country side place with just a few small towns nearby. The place is nicely decorated and looks really good - if only you're not into "strictly posh" style. Rent prices are very cheap, rooms are big, cozy and comfortable. Beware - there are no fridges, no tea kettles in them - you'll have to use shared ones on the shared kitchen. There are no safes in the rooms. For additional charge you can also use sauna. Walking around the manor house is also a great, yet peaceful, experience. The only real drawback is that you can't order dinner or lunch, so be sure to bring some snacks with you. Yet, the breakfast is solid. Nearby situated town of Cesvaine is home for beautiful Cesvaines Palace that also is worth a visit. Staying in Grasu Pils is a very nice experience and is easily recommendable for everyone who loves a bit of piece.

Room Tip: All the rooms are big and are decorated in their own style

Evening you can spend in the palace library. Wide artistic and informative book collection. 19th-century interior, soft carpets quiets the steps in the palace corridors ... Hotel offers delicious breakfast, but dinner you can made in self-service kitchen.

Wonderful surroundings for walks.

Room Tip: All rooms has no TV. It should ask before booking.

Hotel Grasu pils is a renovated manor house. Owner is a charity found which helps abandoned children. Our room was spacious with authentic furniture. The lady which was in the reception and also breakfast prepared was wery nice. She had also told the story of the house. Breakfast was excelent. Hotel is for such people who love the silence and quiet. Only the few kilometer long access road is without asphalt. But it's worth it. For the gorgeous room you must pay as for a room in the budget hotel.

Room Tip: Luxury room will be good choise

Remote countryside manor recently renovated to accommodate visitors and to host events. Overwhelmingly friendly staff (young latvian/russian commanded lady with seemingly angry but virtually cute dog). Crackling stairways and museal scents, not to speak of here-and-there laid out nostalgic artefacts in interior create a particular atmosphere to absorb. Huge spacious rooms! Total quiet around the manor. Despite the overall quiet, if your co-habitants happen to be loud, like families with children, then you have it all in your room too... :-)

Room Tip: Take food with you! The hotel has a kitchenette. The nearest place for eating is in Cesvaine 4 km, even this can be reserved.

Very clean troughout, a proper shower, very large room, TV, wifi and a decent breakfast; what more could you ask for?Well, the nearest restaurant is at Cesvaine about 4km away and you might cosider bringing your own supper instead. Stil very good value if you are in the neighbourhood visiting the Cesvaine Castle.
