Twelve of us were staying in a nearby house so decided to book a table for dinner in advance, and one of our group went to the restaurant in person. When we arrived for dinner we were told that if more than six of us wanted pizza - one of the house specialities - it would take 75 minutes to prepare and deliver as they also had to make the takeaway pizzas too! We thought this might have been mentioned earlier but, hey, it's the holiday and so let's go with the flow! We ordered a bottle of white and a bottle of red, and the latter came in a 'cool bag' as the waitress thought it was too warm, which it was...and this on a seasonally cool day. Of those that didn't order the pizzas, the burgers were OK but the steak was jaw- and wrist-achingly tough. The pizzas came in dribs and drabs -as we'd been warned - but then the waitress had failed to note one pizza order down, and so we were one short...and the chef then refused to make another! It was unbelievably poor service: the one positive was when the waitress didn't fuss over the fact that we discounted our payment ourselves.
