The service at the Privacy Beach was fantastic, staff so friendly and more than willing to accommodate your needs (although their English wasn't great). The Hotel is set on the beach which really is beautiful. The only down side was the resort was very quiet & there didn't seem to be too many people staying there. They have a shuttle bus that goes into Hua Hin city every day which takes about 30mins. Not much of an atmosphere though, so don't go there if you're looking for a lively scene.
We only had dinner (7 Persons) at the Privacy Beach Resort since we rented a house in the area. The cocktails we orderd took them all together about 30 minutes, they arrived one after the other. The waiters speak very poor or no english and it was very hard for them to understand that we wanted to first order our starters and then order the main courses. The food was nothing you would expect in a 4-5 star resort. The service was overall bad, as we had to ask for everything (plates, more drinks etc.) We asked the staff if is was possible to rent the bikes (the resort was empty) and they told us NO. Also they didn´t want to sell us any of the bread they where baking and selling in their bake shop. It was all kind of unfriendly and weird because the whole resort was empty and you would think they would be glad for any kind of business. We also asked if it was possible to use the transport into town, NO. Of course we where willing to pay whatever it would cost for these services.
Over all, extremly rude personal
