“Not worth the money”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

Nicely decorated (but everything is unfinished), nice view, nice garden...BUT no service, and you quickly feel that they take advantage of the fact that the place is isolated to charge everything at an incredibly high price. Don't expect to get anything to eat after 6pm. The place is not managed, the staff is willing to do well.. but they have no idea what to do. So if you decide to stay anyway, make sure to rent a bike (nice place managed by very nice people at the entrance of sam roi yot). Don't ask the hotel to book a taxi, you would pay three times the price.

Make sure to visit the national park and especially the caveTham Phraya Nakhon (better in the morning).

We spend a week in Sam Roi Yot, went to Brassiere with our motorcycles. It is really far away from anything, true that the rooms look beautifull and that it is very peacefull. But so is the rest of Sam Roi Yot! We thought we would have a Singha beer and something to eat, a Small Singha was 100Baht< the going rate in town is betweeen 55-65baht, so a total rippof because they are far out>
Would I consider staying here< no because of much nicer or the same type of places in am Roi Yot that is easier to get to and not so isolated, that thy can charge a arm and a leg and ou should accept. If you do stay here, make sure you rent an bike or car........

(Was there Oct 2011- but drop down menu doesn't go back that far)

Took us 30 mins to drive there from Hua Hin.

Didn't stay there, just a day trip there to have lunch.

Looked around the rooms, they are lovely and all of them are individually decorated.

Sitting eating lunch on the lawn, looking out to sea, with an empty beach, and with few guests there was so relaxing.

The food and drinks were slightly expensive, but worth paying, just for the view.

So near to Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, which is a must see.

This Resort was hard to find at first, but it is so exciting driving on the beach sand. Very private hidaway among hills and forests. If you seek for fadeaway from crowded place, i recommend this.
The staffs are very nice and helpful, but there are less staffs.

If you are looking for the place that you can own the whole beach, and not even to bother thinking of some of your neighbor hotel will bug you at all. This is the PLACE for you!! (Because there are no other hotels on the same beach lol).

No joking.

Considering only location I think this hotel have the best location in Pranburi.
There location is unbeatable, even I have to compare it with Six Senses Pranburi or Aleenta.
The location is simply quite and you can relax yourself by just staying there.

In the night since there are no much people around there.
If you are lucky, you can see lots of stars in the sky!!!

However, if you are expected something more like service and good food.
This is not the place for you to be satisfied by food and services.

If you would love to stay like a king and the queen, my recommendation is that
you rather staying in Six Sense instead. And If you do not like very quite place
do not choose this hotel neither.

But if your answers are relax, quite and very private location.
I think this hotel is the right answer for you.

Recommendation 1: You actually have to drive thru the beach for aprox 100 meter to enter the hotel.

Recommendation 2: Look for the room that does not old. (Not the villa, Main building should be fine)

Recommendation 3: Plan ahead to eat out, not in the hotel.

a very serene hideaway with a unique character. 30 kilometres from Pranburi (which is already 20 km. from Hua Hin), but all worth it.
every single detail of every corner is so well thought and designed. even a cotton bud pack is made from some leaves of the trees around the resort. a night gown isn't just an ordinary towel-robe, but a cute floral pattern spaghetti stripe.
best deserved for the term "boutique" hotel. not too flashy, not too simple.
The food is acceptable considering it is far from the market. What you get ranges from a simple Thai dish like "Kai Jiew" to a homemade key lime pie which the lemons are from the resort garden.
pretty indeed!

The location is wonderful, the rooms nice and the beach is nice. The food is OK with the exception of breakfast which is a joke, and the price is insane, 350thb plus taxes. American breakfast is 2 toasts, jam, 1 egg, 2 sausages and 2 rashes of bacon. As an example of the appalling service you may not have scrambled eggs with bacon as it is more than one egg in scrambled hence more expensive. Unfortunatly this is the management attitude to everything. This could be a gem, but the management is not good and upkeep of eg garden is lacking.
