Nusa Penida is an island with many beaches and majestic scenes. I had a great time visiting there! :)

We did a day trip here from canggu. With ride to port and boat ride and waiting took about 2 hours. On the island we drove around to 4 places. Broken beach kelingking beach angel beach and crystal beach. The sites were amazing and made for fantastic pictures. We wanted to go snokling as well but weather did not permit. Our driver had a good eye for pics which made a difference

Underground Balinese Temple is spectacular. This Temple used to be out of bounds to tourists but the policy has now changed. Some of the beaches are difficult to get to with narrow motorbike tracks and very steep.
When I first went to Nusa Penida about 8 years ago there was almost nowhere to stay. But now there must be over 100 guest houses and almost one restaurant to every tourist.
Take care on the cliff scenic viewing spots as they have inadequate railings to prevent falls and some tourists act like idiots standing right on the edge to take selfies. There have been fatalities on the island and on Lembongan.

3 nights camping on Nusa Penida. We camped at Angel's Billabong and Atuh Beach. Angel's Billabong and the cliffs around it are nice for camping, you just need to be respectful and of course pick up your trash. There was only 1 ferry each day. Leaving Bali at noon and leaving Nusa Penida back to Bali at 8am. The Ferry on the way back to Bali should only take 1 hour, ours took 10 because the 2nd ferry port at Padang Bai is broken. This is the RORO ferry for if you want to take your moto across. It was a long day. If you don't want to take your moto, take one of the speed boats. Nusa Penida is amazing. The sun is very strong. I recommend super lightweight clothing to cover yourself over sunscreen (better for ocean too). This will really help on the hike down to Kleingking beach. Dont wear flipflops on that hike but sturdy shoes, its a steep and tough hike down. Bring extra water. Also if you can't swim well, be careful on that island. Its an amazing place.

Plenty of diving, not over developed yet, good bars, cool travelers and lots of cliff side exploring to do. Will need to hire a scooter to get around.
Well worth a visit 3 days absolute minimum
