Owner description: Viña Casa Marín is a family-owned boutique winery located in the San Antonio appellation, founded by María Luz Marín in 2000, a passionate wine maker and entrepreneur. Viña Casa Marin is now recognized as one of the 100 best vineyards in the world. Its truly unique terroir, just 4 kilometers from the coast, makes it currently Chile's closest vineyard to the Pacific Ocean. Casa Marin has been described as the “most daring and innovative vineyard” in Chile, famous for their cool climate fine wines. They have won many awards including the “Best Sauvignon Blanc in the World” in 2010 and the best in Chile in 2013. Open for private tours and tastings of their Premium wines, lunches with the family members and winemaker, and overnight stays in the private Bed & Breakfast, situated at one of the vineyard’s most privileged spots with a spectacular view of the Pacific ocean.

If you are short or long on time in Chile.

This is the tasting you should not miss and make sure you taste as much as you can

do not miss the best Winery in Chile from a Warm and Geniune family who love wine and make it so well.

Take it from me its my business and I think the wines and hospitality are fantastic.

Thank you Casa Marin.

“A charming overview of the process of wine making and tasting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2012

We had a wonderful, informative visit to Casa Marin. We were able to visit the actual vineyard, taste each type of grape grown, see the process for making wine and then tasting. Our guide was through and patient in answering all our questions and explaining small details of wine making. The setting is beautiful.

“Romantic place for people who value quiet nook and magnifisent sunsets”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2012

Very warm welcome, privat tour and wine tasting. We stayed for one night only.
House in the middle of the vineyard at the top of the hill. Stylish one and comfortable too. Nice to lie in hammock and enjoy the veaw or just walk around (but you should forget about high heels for this evening))). Fireplace is very usefull (after sunset is quite cold).
Dinner made by domestic women is delicious. Especially with wine recomended by our gide/sommelier.
Perfect place for calm staying with good comfort and reasonable price. Ideal for one/two nights. Better to come few hours before sunset. Could be windy - take some jacket with you.

If you are travelling there independently get a good road map. One night was not enough to enjoy the peace and luxury of this place book in for two!

“Fantastic Wine, Fantastic hosts, and a stunning setting for an overnight relaxing stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2012

This is a fantastic vineyard with fantastic wines... My favorites are the Pinot Noir and the Sauvignon Blanc which incidentally have been winning many prizes internationally..

I enjoyed our visit including the tour of the winery and now always recommend visitors that come to Chile that they should make this their visit to a Chilean winery.

If you have time to stay over, although I haven't stayed in the house on the hill myself, I would definitely recommend it as everyone I know who has stayed absolutely raves about it... Enjoy!
