Good venue, well priced, friendly and clean. Plenty of lovely grounds to walk in and lots of places of interest within an easy drive. We like coming back to this hotel because we have a gentle break with lots of swimming in the leisure pool (which is adult only for most of the day - an extra bonus and a main reason we enjoy the stay so much)
The breakfast is not so good - during the week they would do better to have a "cook to order" policy as food becomes "tired" when put out in large quantities in the "hot-buffet-style", this leaves many food stuffs with a nasty skin over them as they are not consumed or stirred.
We had room service one night and the food was hot and tasty - the tray charge was only £2.50 which was very acceptable.
The room was clean and well valeted each of our four nights - we even had our beds "turned down" - lovely touch!
THE WINDOWS IN OUR ROOM ARE GETTING A LITTLE DANGEROUS AND I FORESEE THE WOOD-WORK FAILING AND THE GLASS FALLING OUT SOON - SO THIS DOES NEED SOME ATTENTION ASAP
Otherwise a good place to stay and well worth the money.More
