We pitched up here in the middle of nowhere on spec, and I'm glad we did.

Superb food served in a lovely environment by friendly, welcoming people. What more could you want?

“Very pleasant”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

Discovered the Three Horseshoes through a recommendation in our holiday cottage - really enjoyed our evening, very friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful gardens and good food especially the fabulous summer pudding. We could probably have enjoyed a little more veg but that could just be we were all very hungry - or just eat a lot!

“Very friendly pub”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Six of us called in for a meal on a Wednesday evening, it was busier than I had expected but we had a very warm welcome from the owner and little bit of banter and jokes made us feel very relaxed and at home.
The food was very good, we had a mixture of starters and each were delicious as were the main courses, I had a very nice pork dish.
There is a board showing the local food suppliers which is a nice touch, also a good selection of local ciders which appeals to me.
The staff are excellent and if its good home produced food you are after then look no further, its worth the drive.

“A Little Bit of Heaven.”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We stopped off here for a bite to eat on 9 June during a trip to Wales. We had established by phone in advance that the Sunday lunchtime food was not confined to roasts. We were welcomed very warmly & opted to sit in the garden which was really beautiful. As it was a hot day we both had a Ploughman's which we agreed was the best we had eaten. As well as excellent cheese (one of the choices is the local Herefordshire Hop) & bread, delicious homemade preserves of spiced damsons & spiced pears were served. A first class establishment with friendly people, great food & a delightful atmosphere. Wish it was our local pub.

“Great Food”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

We went for Dinner here one evening when we staying in the area on honeymoon.

The menu was full of local produce, and there was so much to choose from - Have to say it was absolutely delicious - cooked to perfection.

The staff were really friendly, would definitely recommend this place to anyone if they're in the area, we would definitely go back.
