“Excellent Bed & Breakfast”

This is a lovely bungalow. Exceptionaly clean and modern. Stuart the owner is an amazing chap (Champion in Fact), nothing is too much trouble for him. You only need to ask for something and you've got it. We were able to come and go as we pleased. We had the en suite room and the shower is to die for. Absolutely amazing. Right in the country side so very quiet and peaceful. Could quite hapily stay there for longer.

Room Tip: Had a peak at all the rooms as we were the only ones there at the start of our holiday. All the room...

We had a lovely time around the lakes. The BB is very nicely presented, nice decor and very clean. The room was lovely and bathrooms very modern and very clean. Stuart the owner very friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast was 1st class and the bowl of chopped fruit was also lovely.
I would recommend this place to friends and family.

We had quite a bad experience with a B&B in Bowness and needed to make a quick change. What a pleasant surprise to find such a gem with first class accommodation in a rural area. We felt immediately at home by Stewart's warm and friendly personality. And for us city kids it was a treat to wake up in the morning with a view of sheep munching on grass about 50 yards away :-) It was well worth the drive away from the hustle and bustle we left in Bowness.

Excellent level of service, very clean, huge shower, fantastic full English brekkie included in the price makes for excellent value for money. The surrounding area is beautiful and a very good pub a short walk away. Definitely recommend.

First Class Accommodation and service, Stuart made you feel very welcome and happy to help during our stay. Food excellent, we stayed in the King size room with en suite very comfortable with a superb large bathroom. Quiet and rural location, great area for walking nearby. Various places to visit within a short drive away. Looking forward to returning again. Short walk to a local pub for an excellent evening meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Two Acres.

Stuart was extremely welcoming, we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. He is very passionate about his bed and breakfast and made a lot of effort to ensure we were happy. His house, which he built himself, is beautiful. Stuart was very flexible with our check out time and made a delicious breakfast at whatever time suited us.

We stayed in the en suit room which was huge, with a very good shower.

We hope to visit the Lake District again and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Two Acres again. Thanks for everything Stuart.

It is located near to Kendal and the bus stop isn't that far (if you don't have a car), it is really easy to access by car but me and my partner got the bus from Kendal it was about £4 and then walked for about 10 minutes (slowly mind you!)
Really welcoming and friendly owner - he is lovely and makes a really nice full English breakfast with orange juice and tea (there is also cereal and fruit)
It is surrounded by fields and lovely views, there are loads of rabbits running around as well :)
The rooms are very clean, well furnished and the bed are super comfy, I can't really say a bad thing about this place.
It only opened about a year or so ago so everything is pretty new - there a log burning fire in the living room/dining room which is free to use by any of the guests, which is lovely, we had the place to ourselves when we went which was nice :)
The owner gave us a lift into Kendal instead of getting the bus back with our bags, which was so helpful and generous- really went out of his way to make us feel at home - which he did

Room Tip: We stayed in the kingsize bed room with an ensuite - it was lovely, great views :)
