Pleasant, super clean rooms, really helpful staff, would be very happy to use this Travelodge again. The one way in access off the A14 wasn't too arduous to deal with as the junctions are close. Great service.

.......on your way TO London. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was huge, masses of storage space and a decent TV. The bathroom was clean with huge towels. It is basic Travelodge, but with a very friendly and polite receptionist.
The only drawback is, that you have to stop at Cambridge Services on the other side of the A14 first, if you want any supper, as you cannot get back over to 'the other side' without going down to the next junction and back up again. Would stay again at such a reasonable price.

Have to say Lisa the Manageress went out off her way to make our stay the best we have experienced from a Travelodge, once she saw that one of us was disabled she changed our room to a newly renovated downstairs one which was lovely and spacious, and did this without us even asking, and even kindly made us a coffee whilst we waited for the new room to be made up. Nothing was too much trouble for her, a truly lovely person.
The only downside with this Travelodge is the entrance to get to it, which is not very inviting as you have to drive through an old garage forecourt which is now used as a car wash, but do not let that put you off. There is also a fish and chip shop at the top of the Travelodge which did some nice food. Overall this Travelodge was very good value for the price we paid with excellent staff..

Room Tip: We stayed in room 4 which was newly renovated
