The house has the most fantastic spot on the top of a hill overlooking fields and woodland. Upon arrival we were very impressed with the lovely garden and pool area and the house itself is beautiful. The kitchen is a dream - Nespresso machine (impossible to find the Nespresso capsules at the Leclerc supermarket near Villefranche but the version we did get from there worked fine). The dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer were a great addition , especially as we didn't have great weather. That didn't stop us from going out and about a lot though as there is just so much to see in the vicinity of the house. We all enjoyed the prehistoric caves at Peche Merle (amazing stalactites and stalacmites) and the beautiful village of St Cirq Lapopie is a great place for lunch afterwards and a wander. Also near the house is Parc Aventure (relatively new). It's a bit like Go Ape in the UK and our 7 & 10 year olds had a great time up in the trees and on the zip wires. Another day trip was to the Centre de l'Espace back near Toulouse - so much to see and learn. The day we did stay around the house, or if we got back late afternoon, there was plenty to occupy ourselves with - wifi access is great and there is also a Wii (the children were very happy). There was also a ping pong table and plenty of board games. There are swings in the garden as well and the pool proved very popular. The house is very comfortable and the fact it had everything you could think of was a bonus. Would definitely go back to the area and the house.
