An adventure for all ages. Great walking trails, in the spring the birds come from all over the world as they migrate and the little ones can watch and feed the wallabies in the park. Great camping facilities. AT a reasonable elevation so it is always cooler - and decidedly chilly in the winter. No wonder the Bunya Mountains are a sacred space to the local indigenous people - they have a magic that never fails to work.

Went out to have a look late afternoon, easy drive , impressive view and has a rain Forrest feel, Bunya pines are magnificent and plenty of wildlife. Got back to Dalby under 3 hours overall

I have called in to the Bunya Mountains several times over the last two years and will gladly return again. A very well maintained park with magnificent views, forests and wildlife. A tremendously tranquil atmosphere with a varied range of fauna and flora to enjoy.

We would highly recommend Ecos Studio booked through the accommodation centre of this superb park...for a cosy and extremely well equipped studio cabin in the bush where cut firewood, linen and many little extras like good coffee are all supplied by a generous minded owner
