Clean, efficient and well equipped, free Wifi works well, bathroom above Tassie standards. Friendly staff and casual atmosphere. Restaurant 3/5, next door a bottleshop, mall and Woolworth round the corner. Same quality since 2007.

Good value for a family of four despite a poor sofa bed (very thin mattress). Free Internet and good food at good prices at their bistro - very good vegetable buffet. Easy location to get to Hobart proper (10 min drive) but only for those with cars. Shopping centre just across the carpark.

We arrived at around 7pm on a Friday night, it was very busy, and we had to wait 5 minutes for a table to become available.
Ordered a Steak and Veg's each, which included free helpings to the Salad Bar.
It was a very good meal, and the staff were very polite and helpful.
Total Cost without drinks came to about $56. We would go again, but would book first.

Room Tip: We visited for a meal only!

This "jewel of the east" makes a very convenient base if you have business on the eastern side of the Derwent.

It's not too far from the airport, about three minutes from Blundstone Arena, there's a small shopping centre near by and a couple of dining options inside the property.

I've stayed there many times and have always found the staff friendly and the rooms comfortable and spotless.

Highly recommended.

Room Tip: All rooms are on a par, just the bedding arrangements vary.

Just enjoyed a delicious bistro meal with my husband, friendly and professional staff looked after us and the steak...both of us enjoyed eye fillet steak cooked to perfection, something we have found sadly difficult to find in recent times! We'll definitely be back!

Spur of the moment decision to pop in for lunch, it was close to end of meal time so were delighted to be welcomed so eagerly. We were seated, provided menus and details of specials, drinks order taken, and they would be back shortly to take our order.
Both ordered from the seniors menu, bottle of wine and salad bar explained.
OMG scallops divine as was the Atlantic salmon. Salad bar such a bonus. We were asked on two occasions how was our meal, or if there was anything we required. This was brilliant service, and as we got there so close to the end of meal service, we obviously put staff behind but to our absolute pleasure we enjoyed our meal to the end, then once our plates were taken away a young man came up and enquired if we would like anything further from the salad bar before they removed.
The experience was so enjoyable that for the first time ever I have posted these comments.
No doubting what could become a real favourite dining out location,
Oh and right on a bus route as well as shopping mall, so what better way to enjoy an afternoon.
Thanks to all the wonderful staff in attendance especially the supervisor who unfortunately I didn't note her name but she knows how to deliver service.

The food is fine but I wouldn't take your partners ladies. I'm guessing morals are not a strong point in hiring staff.
Last I looked married "ladies" don't pass numbers to men sitting eating with their partners.
We didn't finish our meal & We won't be back.
