“nonsense charging money”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

i am a local, and used to go to mosman gorge 2 times a year with the family, always a carpark availeble. Now they charge money for a "bus service"they said is for privacy. Well if its for privacy what is the difference with people going in the bus there? So they dont mind their privacy as long if the tourist pay for it? Needless to say i dont go their anymore. Ooh by the way, after visiting Mosman Gorge (in the old free days) we would go to the village and spend some money on coffee, beer, cake lunch. Well i am sure the local business feels this money grabbing scam. Ooh yes, just in case they say its to limit the amount of people going in, what about you have 1 person at the boom gate controlling the amount of cars going in. Guess what,
i dont even mind paying that person $3...

“Mossman Gorge Shuttle Bus”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

To access this amazing rainforest, park at the visitor centre and buy a ticket for the shuttle bus. The bus is inexpensive, runs very frequently, and drastically reduces the number of cars driving into the rainforest. Take lots of water and wear shoes for walking. Not far up on the right hand side of the path is a gorgeous swimming hole, although it can become very busy at times. We spent a good couple of hours walking the tracks. Don't arrive too late in the afternoon as you could miss the last bus back...!

“Not sure it's worth a visit”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

We decided to start out day trip to the Daintree area at Mossman Gorge. In retrospect, we should have skipped this and should have gone to the daintree discovery center, which locked much more interesting. We ended up not having enough time for the Daintree discovery center. Mossman George was not as spectacular as we expected. We had seen other several other tropical rainforests before and compare it to those experiences.

“Wow what an experience”
Reviewed December 20, 2012 via mobile

Great staff and service. Fantastic value for money. $4.50 for an all day shuttle bus ticket. The rainforest boardwalk and swimming site was excellent. Crystal clear rainforest water flowing over endless rock pools and fish swimming around you. Unbelievable photo opportunities.
