The park and walk along the falls were very nice but the water is blue only in the driest time of year, March and April.

Beautiful cascading falls and pools to swim in. The water is warm by Canadian standards. Lots of restaurants to sample local dishes at and vendors selling all sorts of goods. A great place to spend an afternoon just enjoying the natural beauty of the falls given it's name for the color of the water or stay the night in one of the rustic little cabins on the site. Public washrooms are available on site. Any there are lots of young boys who will gladly help you park and watch your vehicle - for a price. Be prepared to pay the entry fee to the ijido to visit the falls - about 30 pesos per person. Either because of the remote location or maybe time of the day or week, it was not at all crowded and we were able to wander around and enjoy everything this place had to offer.

After Palenque and Misol Ha it was nice to casually walk around the area. Was just before Christmas so very festive. Keep an eye for good deals on amber. If it is real the seller should have a black light to proove it...Couple excellent little places for a quick snack and a cerveza before we continued on for the day...Nice place...

Very nice, you can swim and there are place to stay. The only thing I could not do any of that because the weather did not help, it was drizzling and the water was murky. But it is very cute! I hire a tour that took me to Palenque, Misol-Ha and Agua Azul waterfalls all in the same day. If you don´t have much time I recommend it.

Nothing like swimming below the waterfall and it was a sunny day on December 20th. We were on our way to Palenque and stopped over for a swim then lunch. We had a whole tilapia fish for lunch along with torillas.
