Pool is fabulous, garden are very nice.
Rooms, as other reviewers have said, are dark and basic, but for the cost they are reasonable value. The restaurant is not brilliant The food was average at best. Service was okay.
As a base for visiting the ruins it couldn't be better placed - only a 10 minute drive.
Service wasn't great, but agai for the price it was fine. The main thing is that you feel you feel safe and it is clean if basic.

Honestly, I don't understand why people are disappointed with this place. For us it was absolutely perfect!

- profesional staff

- nice, very clean, spacious rooms with kings size bed, own patio with chairs and a table, new tv, ventilator and air conditioning.

- the rooms actually look nicer in reality than on the picture and they are adequate to the price.

- pool was nice, clean, they served us mojitos right there, the slide worked just fine (we tried :)!

- yes it is OUTSIDE of Palenque city. But that is the good thing. Palenque is not a nice historical town, you are better of to stay outside in the jungle/fields. Most Palenque hotels are like that, placed along the road that goes to the ruins. The hotel restaurant was good and not pricy. You might want to buy extra water and snacks perhaps.

- it is a resort made to receive big groups. It wasn't busy when we were there, but if you prefer boutique personalized hotels, you might not like this place.

Room Tip: I had a room number 41 with a king size bed and a view into the bush and bamboo trees.

This place was made to cater for the large number of tourists visiting Palenque pyramids. The hotel is resort style with a large pool. Nothing around the hotel except other hotels, farmland and bush.

The room we stayed in was a hut. Sparsely furnished and dark. Bathroom was horrible because of the dangerous drop in levels and sharp tiles. Mosquitos in room. Saving grace was the air conditioner. Wifi only available in the reception area. Cable TV reception not too good and remote control did not work.

Dinner buffet was standard Mexican food. Breakfast buffet was limited selection.

Reception staff were friendly and spoke English.

The draw card is Palenque and that only takes a day to see it. I would not want to stay longer than one night at Kin Ha.

Stayed here for one night on Exodus's La Ruta Maya tour. The setting and the villas look nice around the pool but the rooms and bathrooms were very basic - a bit like a 1950's holiday camp. The margaritas were good and the food was okay but the hotel was almost empty, just one group of French tourists besides us. We played cards in the restaurant after dinner (for lack of anything else to do) and the staff were clearly waiting around for us to leave.

A very good week spent at Kin-Ha. The attention from the management made us feel at home and its proximity to Palenque archaeological site a very good option. Good food and the karaoke bar was a nice experience!

On the site of this hotel there are many villa´s, that look great from the outside, but when you´re in your room, it is very humid. Some places became mouldy, especially the bathroom. It didn´t smell fresh. There was a fantastic pool, with a nice terrace. You can drink your cocktail here. Breakfast was a la carte, there was not a buffet. Great advantage of the hotel is that it is near the ruins of Palenque.

This hotel is frequented by large tour groups. We basically just slept there and didn't taste their food nor took advantage of their pool. The hotel shows its age, the room was clean, okay, but nothing special. The price was alright (1,100 MXN) for three people. WIFI only worked in the lobby, but not in the room.

The location so close to the ruins is nice, but without a car you are stuck there.

I would probably stay in another place next time.
