“Hard meat!”
Reviewed February 12, 2014 via mobile

Nice location but the food I ordered was like hard as a stone - filete a la mexicana con arroz o frijol. Sounds so mexican but feels like chewing stones. The fresh juice is good. My friend's order was fine - filete asado con verduras, the meat is soft.

“So and so...”
Reviewed February 7, 2014 via mobile

We ordered a T-bone steak and a fillet with vegetables. After a while we got informed that they had run out of the steak so we ordered a Newyork steak instead. This was ok but the french fries were very dark and tasteless, eventually old double-fried. The fillet with vegs was nice. No english.

“Just OK tonight....”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

Read the reviews and were looking forward to a great dinner. Not much for bebidas - out of Corona, out of Modela, etc. No mixed drinks on the menu so we settled for Sol beer. No problem we were ready for dinner and would get a drink later. Split a bowl of asparagus sopa - portion size was grande! Sopa was good but not memorable. Split an order of quesidilla camarones and were disappointed with the shrimp as they tasted muddy. Should have sent them back.

The tacos and salsa were very good - muy picante. Friend had enchiladas verde and was pleased with his dinner. Other friend had order of mushroom soup and could not finish her grande bowl. She said it was very good.

Service was very good with no wait for our orders. I doubt we would go back because of the shrimp. Maybe just a bad batch????i

Great Chiapas food, home-cooking in a comfortable, easy atmosphere. Fabulous quesidilla camarones, best ever. It was really spectacular the first night, went back again, still good, but not exactly the same. Maybe a different cook? Still good. Totally cool place for dinner. Generous portions, reasonable prices.

“Good value”
Reviewed November 25, 2013 via mobile

As a vegetarian, I ate the vegetable salad which consisted of big chunks of boiled veggies, tomato and almost an entire crop of lettuce. My boufriend had a vegetables rolled into meat. You can easily order one portion for two people. Definately a good option when you are in town.
