Very attentive staff and much appreciated air conditioning and swimming pool (which we were the only ones frequenting though we did have some friendly local lizards watching on from the side!!). The pool is set alongside a lake and you take a lovely meandering path through tropical gardens to get there. Nice dinners and an open dining area with some good reading materials. We enjoyed the ruins though a lot busier than the quieter ones at Tonina where we were treated to a personalised tour by a local Mexican cowboy who spoke enough English for us to understand the history of this seven story ruined city!!
