There really isnt anything negative that you could say about Netherdene B&B; Dean and Steph were so friendly and helpful whatever time of day or night! Our room was lovely, breakfast was delicious and everything was to such a high standard but with a homely feel. We enjoyed our trip so much that my boyfriend proposed...thanks Netherdene!

We wanted a long weekend in the Lakes as a getaway and chose this B&B because of its great location and reviews. Dean and Stephanie were just delightful...really welcoming and laidback, and they couldn't do enough to be helpful. The sunny conservatory is a perfect place to eat the (delicious) breakfast while you admire the gorgeous Lakeland view... and one morning we were even joined by a cheeping chick running amok under the table until captured! Comfortable clean accommodation. Great value. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here last night and absolutely loved it. On arrival the owner Dean came outside to greet us, calling me by my name which shows he keeps track of which guests are due for arriving. He then showed us around the hotel before making sure we had our days planned and advising us of the places to visit around the area and how to get to them. The room was lovely and cosy, and the breakfast the morning after was beautiful! Tea and coffee was offered on arrival as well as with breakfast (unlimited) and also extra toast if required free of charge! The breakfast room overlooked a lovely garden and views of the hills and the room was very bright and fresh. Will definitely be staying here again, customer service and manners are huge to me and the owners have this and some!

This family run B&B is gorgeous. It is in a lovely spot just off the A66. But don't let that put you off; there are fabulous views from every window.

Upon arrival you are greeted with fresh tea/coffee. The breakfast room backs onto their lovely garden and is home to hens and local wildlife; so something to watch whilst you are enjoying your morning meal. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated; vintage style.

Just book and I’m sure you will agree with all the other reviews this B&B is getting!

Room Tip: If you have a problem with stairs they do have a beautiful (newly decorated) double room on the grou...

We chose to stay at Netherdene based on past tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed! The B&B is in easy reach of Ullswater, Keswick, Derwent Water and much much more! Dean was great and made us feel so welcome straight away. Each day he would listen to our plans and offer advice and alternatives according to the weather. They would identify useful maps and photocopy them ready for our trips. They even gave us a Lakes tourist book & free parking pass for the duration of our stay!

The room was perfect for a short stay, everything you need, very clean and comfortable...beautiful view of too! Steph & Dean had also put an extra heater in our room as it was snowing during our stay.

Breakfast was great too, a large selection of continental breakfast followed by a home cooked full english. Times for breakfast are completely flexible because they totally understand that everyone has different plans each day. Lots of lovely pubs, restaurants and cafe's in easy reach. We also found it nice that there is a cosy bar/restaurant opposite the B&B which we could pop in to after dinner each night for a night cap!

Overall, an amazing stay and we will be back!!

A one night stopover from the south home to Scotland is simply not enough. I would love to know of a better B and B? Customer care, value for money, food and comfort. Keep promising to come back for more than one night, and I will. Would recommend to one and all.
