We wanted to have a hands on experience for the kids, especially with the Kangaroos and this is the place that fulfilled that. What a great place to visit. When we got there we were given a map and times of activities that happen, so on the day we went, we headed straight for the Koala picture opportunity as they take a rest at 1pm. The keepers are knowledgable and although I dont agree with holding Koalas for pictures etc, they sit on the tree stumps and you are allowed to touch the Koala with the back of a finger. Which I feel is how it should be, kids loved this. After doing this we then headed back to the entrance to do the exhibits in order. The Kangaroo walk through was the highlight, many kangaroos and joeys are here to smooth and feed. Food is free and the kangaroos are so docile, many had Joeys in their pouches, which was a nice thing to see. We spent a good 45mins - 1hr in this exhibit. The volunteers that were dotted around were also very knowledgable. There are also birds, reptiles to see. We visit the Farm Show which was fun and had audience interaction. There is also the "Meet the wombat" show but we did not attend this due to the timings of the show. All in all a must visit. We loved it. There is parking here and its free to park, entrance fee was $24 per Adult and $10 per child.
