“Bodalla Dairy Shed Cafe - Well worth the stop!”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Driving through on our way south and thought we'd stop by after seeing the sign for the cheese factory. While we never got to the factory, we're glad we stopped here for a feed! The food was delicious, full of flavour and very fresh. Eating by the huge open fireplace was lovely, and we will definitely stop in if heading that way in the future.

“Don't drive past, GO IN and sample the milk!!!!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

We are regulars to the Bodalla Dairy Shed despite living 3 hours away. On our trips down the south coast we always prepare for our trip here with freezing our freezer bricks and packing a cooler bag in preparation for our trip home , always with Bodalla milk and sometimes yoghurt or cheese. Our little velevty liquid sloshing around waiting to be drunk when we get home. The anticipation is memorable.
The milk is divine, full cream, unhomogeniesed and freshest of fresh. Has a flavour you will remember from your childhood (if you are over 40 that is).
The milkshakes are unbelievable, the froth is amazing bacause of the fresh cream laden milk.
The kids are hooked as are the adults. The coffee's very good, food good.
But really the star is the milk and yoghurt. You can ask for a sample from the spinning glass milk dome and the lovely owner will gladly oblige. She is proud of her product and rightly so.

“Bodalla dairy given new life”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

I always used to buy Bodalla cheddar when visiting the South Coast, but the business went bust years ago. Now two Sydney émigrés have purchased the old dairy and re-established milk and cheese production, as well as opening this cafe next door. The staff are very friendly and the food tasty. Being a milk shake fan, I reckon it was one of the best I've tasted. We bought their milk and several different cheeses, all wonderful. When we spoke with the owners we heard an interesting story about their involvement with revivifying the town which has a lot more to run. We'll keep visiting Bodalla to see how the story is going. This place is worth watching.

“Must stop for a dairy inspired treat...”
Reviewed April 30, 2013 via mobile

After always driving through Bodalla, this trip we were determined to stop everywhere, and we stopped twice in Bodalla, once on the way up the coats and on the way back down. The town is gorgeous, it's quiet, relaxed and very easy on the eye.

We took our time tasting all the delicious cheeses and they were yummy, all inspired with Australian bush flavours, herbs and spices. Grabbed coffees, milkshakes, sandwiches, then to our delight, there was a whole lot of baby animals out the back that you could feed and pat.

There are great spots inside our outside to sit and chill out, read a book and eat something delicious, the staff are really friendly, it's well worth the stop.

It's great if you are going camping, we stock up on all our dairy here as they had cute little milk bottles which was exactly what we needed before heading into Bendethra.

“High expectations-but disapointed”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Food very expensive, poorly cooked and COLD- a tourist trap best avoided plays on the old Bodalla Cheese factory reputation.
