Owner description: Fur Fossiler 55.000.000 years is a small natural history museum. Fur Fossiler combines exhibitions on the natural history, geology and environment of Fur (Island), with an exploration of its cultural and social history. The museum has a large collection of early eocene (55 million years old) fossils found on the island. The museum offers activities including nature walks and fossil hunting in the summer. It has an outside picnic area and a souvenir shop

Fur Museum is a very exciting place, telling Fur's history. This is done in every way interesting and instructive way - as almost animate themselves to explore around on the exciting island.
In addition, the museum also an old house with barns and stables, which shows how previously lived on the island.
Definitely a recommended place.
