What a wonderful guest house this is. Corinne and Alan can't do enough to help. The food is wonderful with an excellent choice to suit all tastes. The decor in the bedrooms is clean, bright and welcoming and the views are incredible. Even the standard of the bathrooms was better than I have encountered in other B&Bs - and I have stayed in many of them.

I really cannot recommend Bosavern too highly.

This must the best Guest House in the area, it is in a fantastic location in the stunning district of Penwith in Cornwall
We always have a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. The food is marvelous and the house is so atmospheric,it draws you back every time.
But most of all, the hosts, Corinne and Allan go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay and always make you feel very much at home
Outstanding!

Stayed at Bosavern House in October as part of a trip to the UK. This was at the end of my vacation and after having stayed in an assortment of B&Bs around the country - this particular B&B was definitely the best of those I stayed at. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They have an extensive knowledge of the area and they were happy to give suggestions as to places to see and things to do. Breakfast was yummy with a good selection of hot and cold dishes to choose from - all ingredients are sourced locally and the yoghurt and muesli are made by the hosts themselves. Where possible they use eggs from their own chickens. While this was my first stay here, all the rest of the guests were repeaters, some have been coming back year after year. I look forward to returning to Cornwall in the future and will definitely stay at this property again.

I stayed at Bosavern House in September this year, returning for the tenth year running. All of the rooms have stunning countryside/sea views and the welcome that you receive is second to none! The house is in a fantastic position for exploring the local area by car or on foot (there is a footpath that leads to the coastal path just opposite the house!) There are several beaches within 10 minutes drive (including Sennen if you fancy a surf with the locals!) All in all Bosavern House is a great place to relax and recharge your batteries!

We have spent many a happy holiday at Bosavern House, our most recent being July this year(2008). The outside of this 17th century property is always well looked after, with well tendered gardens. Inside the property is well looked after and up to the standards one would expect today. The rooms are light, airy and very clean with views out to sea or of the surrounding countryside. Bed linen and towels are changed every 3 to 4 days, more frequently if you wanted. Breakfast is an integal part of your stay, with an extensive menu which of course includes a Full English. Where possible all ingredients are locally sourced, eggs even coming from their own chickens, also delicious home made yogurt, jams and muesli. The proprietors do all they can to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. We would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone, and are looking forward to our next visit in October.

Accommodation is difficult to find in St Just and if you are walking the South Coast Path around the Cornish Coast Bosavern House is ideally situated. A glimpse of the exterior shows a fine period building but walk through into the vestibule and you encounter a dowdy, down at heal 1970s time warp. Predminantly dark brown furniture, dated patterned carpets and drab clutter. The feel of this place is tired and depressing. The antithesis of the clean fresh look which better quality bed and breakfasts have now adopted. The management of guests was chaotic with too many instructions to 'wait while I do so and so...' were dispensed with little charm or care. We were offered the facilities of a drying room for wet clothes but after an overnight stint the clothes were as wet as when they entered. We realised this was a ploy by the management to keep damp clothes out of the bathroom which was silly because the bathroom was well ventilated and warm and the clothes would have dried better. Guests were not relaxed and the overall management style lacked charm and care.

This is a proper bed and breakfast. There's no laminate floors or self conscious styling. Breakfast isn't an after thought. It's an integral part of your stay as it should be. You won't get industrial bread and battery eggs for breakfast. Instead you'll get proper eggs laid by happy hens and home made yoghurt. Breakfast is served with light classical music in the background which just fits. It's a British bed and breakfast as they used to be, and as they should be, and sadly so often aren't. It's genuine, clean, unpretentious and homely and the owners are charming. It's a great place to stay if you are walking along the South West Coast Path.
