A group of 10 of us stayed overnight at Greenbanks and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location is beautiful, and the bedroom (room 9) was really lovely.

Staff were all very friendly, and the owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming.

The food was amazing, we could tell it was all fresh and we'll prepared.

The only thing we would say is the photo's don't do the place justice. Perhaps consider updating the website? Just a suggestion!

This place is truly a hidden little gem. The location is very central, easy access to the A47 but just off far enough to give you the feeling of truly being ticked away. It even has a swimming pool if you fancy a morning dip before breakfast!!

The rooms are all well kept, tastefully decorated and very homely. Anyone staying here will definitely want to come back.

My only gripe would be that the menu truly does need changing. I have been visiting the restaurant just to eat for the last 2 years and the menu has never changed, you can ring 'ahead' and ask for something specific but if you are a frequent visitor it would be nice to see a rotational menu to give a greater choice.

Room tip: Rooms over looking the small lake are lovely.

We stayed three nights, mid-week, to relax after a hectic few months. The room had a lake view with modern decor and fittings. The hosts were very welcoming and the food was awesome. Just what we needed. Thanks.

The owners and staff are very friendly, we stayed in the barn which was imaculate, the food and drink was top notch, all set in a lovely location! when we woke, we opened the blinds to the veranda to see the lake and surrounding woods covered in snow,, absolutely gorgeous!,,, We highly recommend this place to all!!!
